Canada romped to a convincing six-wicket win over Kenya in their World Cricket League ODI fixture in Schiedam on Friday.

Chasing just 153 for victory, Ashish Bagai's side needed just 35.5 overs to seal the two points that ensured Kenya finished with the wooden spoon.

The African side were slow with the bat after being inserted, and the resultant pressure saw them lose their final five wickets for just 13 runs as Harvir Baidwan took three wickets before Rizwan Cheema polished off the tail.

Canada wobbled momentarily at 48 for 3 before Bagai arrived to steer them home with an unbeaten 61, with Zubin Sarkari providing solid support to finish on 23 not out.
